What makes this story especially funny for me is that I actually have mailed potato chips cross-country.
I was visiting my grandmother back in PA and decided I needed to send myself a supply of Goods Potato Chips, available only locally near Reading. If I remember correctly, the ingredient list on the side of each bag was "POTATOES, LARD, SALT."
