ever heard of the I-5 corridore, that is the main vein (no pun inteded) that we live on where the dope is smuggled in tax free(no sales tax) and there is no politician willing to stop it. i am conservative but I would vote for Hillary in a second if she would stop this lunacy of people running across our border having anchor babies and providing more fuel for condos to house everyone.
the first one certainly was an ethnically diverse operation. A Middle Eastern-named fellow watches the door while a Japanese fellow readies the getaway car, waiting for the guy from Saipan to finish the job--who ends up shooting a Korean fellow.
This is too weird. The first shooting took place two blocks up the street from my office and the second took place where I shop pretty much every other day on my way home from work. I'm usually at the Trader Joe's between 5:15 to 6:00 which is when it happened. Good thing my kid had track practice yesterday and I had to leave early to pick him up or I might have caught a bullet. Maybe I should invest in a bullet proof vest or something.
I love this quote -- is this what it takes to qualify to live in SE Portland??
"I was on the fifth floor and a lady said she heard a gunshot and not to go outside. So I went outside, and there were a bunch of cops with a car that had just pulled up, and they pulled assault rifles on this tall skinny redhead (woman)," Sheridan said.
Like Kevin, the first one was about four blocks from where I work and the second four blocks from where I work. If the trend continues, the next such incident will be somewhere around SE 12th & Belmont, which is in the vicinity of where I stop off for a drink.

We've reached our saturation point here on the Juneau side of the river. Had to start exporting them. Enjoy!

"a lady said she heard a gunshot and not to go outside. So I went outside..."
That one stopped me in my tracks. A true dude.

I was just trying to get some milk from Joe's. Now I can't eat my cereal.

I liked the "So I went outside" comment very much. Big Lebowski USDA Prime Dude..
"Fortunately, I'm adhering to a very strict drug regimen to keep my mind limber..." -The Dude
And lets not forget the dozens of property crimes committed every week that are never solved.
What was the name of that jail they built in NoPo, but never opened?
