It sucks. My best friend was just diagnosed with terminal brain cancer.
I always thought we'd find a cure for cancer in my lifetime. Now I doubt we'll see any cure for many decades.

That does suck. Never much cared for Tony "Tokyo Rose" Snow- or perhaps "Crawford Sage" is more fitting, but I did hate to hear this news. Watched too many good friends and family members deal with that wicked disease, my own mother and father included. However long I may live, I don't think I'll ever get used to cancer. Just saying the word is painful and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. Both Snow & your friend will be in my thoughts and prayers tonight.

My dear friend survived the same cascade of diagnoses. Colon cancer to surgery to liver cancer to chemo ... to remission! Let's hope Tony gets the same good break.
