We are pretty close to knowing the final cost since the last lawsuit was just settled.

Any political hopeful that can quote the Moody Blues (from memory?) is worth a second look.
By this time next year, the entire city council will be singing the "sometimes you are the windshield, and sometimes you are the bug..." chorus from the Dire Straits.

So THAT is why they won't give it to us; like so many things that the government knows best about - no reason to have us fret our pretty little heads over. Those in city hall know best and have it covered for us.
