Why do we never get an answer...
How much is it costing each day to run the OHSU Health Club aerial tram? And what was the final tab on the construction?

As Tom Rubin said of one light rail line in LA:
We are pretty close to knowing the final cost since the last lawsuit was just settled.
It will be a while.
Thanks

I'd even take an interim number. The last lie we heard was $56 million.

"Because the truth is hard to swallow" is one of the answers in the Moody Blues song with that question.

Any political hopeful that can quote the Moody Blues (from memory?) is worth a second look.
By this time next year, the entire city council will be singing the "sometimes you are the windshield, and sometimes you are the bug..." chorus from the Dire Straits.
Which inspires a new name the tram car suggestion:
Park-n-Ride
Floating Sinkhole

You want the TRUTH!!!!
You can't handle the TRUTH!
So THAT is why they won't give it to us; like so many things that the government knows best about - no reason to have us fret our pretty little heads over. Those in city hall know best and have it covered for us.
Run along, nothing to see here.

Speaking of the Moody Blues, how 'bout the tram as a cold-hearted orb?
"Breathe deep the gathering gloom
Watch lights fade from every room
Bedsetter people look back and lament
Another day's useless energy's spent
Impassioned lovers wrestle as one
Lonely man cries for love and has none
New mother picks up and suckles her son
Senior citizens wish they were young
Cold-hearted orb that rules the night
Removes the colors from our sight
Red is grey and yellow white,
But we decide which is right,
And which is an illusion."

So the trams supporters (enablers) are (K)nights in white satin?
