You were always* on my mind

*At least, during those brief interludes when I had one.

Only Willie could be busted with 1.5 pounds of pot and everybody agree it was for personal consumption. I think Congress should exempt him from the drug laws. I think it would be a great election year move to please both rednecks and pot loving liberals. Karl Rove should be all over this.

Just think, America, all Osama has to do is "sling a few bags" and W and the DEA would be on him like a shaky, sad alcoholic eyeballing the dregs of his twin daughter's near-beer behind her back.

As I read it elsewhere, 1.5 pounds was the total taken from five people on the bus. It wasn't all Willie's personal stash. Interesting that no one cited was under 50 years old.

I wonder what the probable cause for the stop was. More than just Willie Nelson's name on the side of the bus?

I think his name on the bus does amount to probable cause. I wonder if bojack is Willie fan?

How come the drummer didn't stand up and claim it all as his own? What good are soldiers if they won't jump on a grenade for a General?

I am joking, of course. The drummer is too important: the bus driver should have taken the fall.
