The horse project is great... it's simple, very Portland, and makes people smile. I noticed the horse in front of Pix Patisserie is broken as well. Time to 'put them down' and replace I guess...

....how about replace with a small sized piles of horse sh%t. Quite the artistic statement, eh? Them horses just shat and left, to run wild in the urban corral, leaving only little piles behind.

Sometimes I think even some toddlers feel like giving Barney a good thrashing. Always gladhanding, singing about love and playing politics. Talking about politeness and civility while ignoring the problem and issues of his day. He might be dubbed an honorary purple Portlander. I have long thought he bears a resemblance to Michael Schrunk.

Incidentally, that Barney article was from 1997. Here's the final legal judgment (I think) in the matter. Pretty funny stuff....
