It's sad that we live in a country that imposed a temporary tax to pay for WW2 that still enforces it today. Its also sad to think that this country who once gave 40 acres and a mule to anyone willing is the same place that you can no longer own land. Just go out and pay cash for a piece of property do you think you own it? Stop paying property taxes and you will find you never owned it.
