Lucky me. I now own two laptops - an affected Dell and an affected Apple MacBook Pro - with batteries that are potential fire hazards. Both batteries are manufactured by the same company. I wonder how much longer it will be in business supplying these 1 hour wonders to the road warriors and fan boys of the world.

Since it is Sony making the fire hazard batteries I expect they will be around for a long time. There is are many reasons I don't buy anything from Sony.....

I saw a blog a couple weeks ago where this guy flipped one of the new Macs over and fried an egg on it....kinda scary.
