World Cup dinner II

We extended our tribute to the World Cup semi-finalists tonight with a lovely Italian white wine, mostly tocai. Here's to you, boys. You must lose on Tuesday, but may you win the consolation game!

I have no chance to win (my World Cup final prediction was a colonial grudge match between Spain and Mexico), but I am definitely rooting for the Portugese. I've had enough of overbearing Teutonics and duplicitous Romans, not to mention arrogant Gauls.

Hey Jack,

Just saw a segment on Good Moring America, subject "Turkey Burgers". More fat in a turkey burger than a lean hamburger! Ixnay with the Turkeyay!

Depends on which turkey burgers you use. Plus, cholesterol.

Looks like my only hope is a high scoring shoot-out in the final. France vs Italy seems to be my best shot.

Velveeta has got to be having the time of his life over there right now. My brother and I made plans last night for South Africa in 2010. Who would have thought I'd be into soccer? I might even attend my first Timbers match since my youth!
