You're right that some Republicans will use this to further distance themselves from Theocrat-Neocon policy. I just hope as GOP politicians run for their lives, Americans hold their feet to the fire over their 'rubber-stamp' record during Bush's terms.
But... then again, more than 20-30% need to vote. The primaries haven't been encouraging.
