What's the deal with Mount Laurel, N.J.?

Over at Le Petite Morte, they're wondering who that visitor is who keeps showing up looking at their blog from a perch in Mount Laurel, N.J. I get visitor data showing the same thing all the time, but I thought it was one of my old Jersey contacts checking out the blog. I've got lots of family and friends in the Garden State.

You other bloggers out there -- are you getting this visitor, too? Perhaps it's a Google-bot or something. Does anyone know?

I have no clue. I just learned how to link last weekend.

P.S. Don't rule out the NSA.

Mt. Laurel, N.J. is the location I get for a lot of Comcast users. I know some of them actually posted from the PDX metro area. Go figure.

It's pretty dang peculiar. It may be coincidence or it may be something deeper.

It's where AT&T is headquartered, I think. I remember something about that (from my paychecks) in my telecom days.

I'm going with the Comcast theory. And for you Jerseyphiles, it's exit 4 on the Turnpike.

Hmm...count me in on the Mount Laurel visitor parade as well.

Not here, but I have a regular or two from Singapore. Go figure.

I have to admit, I am the dreaded google bot!

If your visitor data shows something from the Colorado state government, and you were wondering about that, it's nothing to worry about. I'm a former student who enjoys reading your blog and seeing how you are doing!
