It's a beautiful morning

This blogging thing is all about my wonderful readers. Earlier today one of them noticed that we were still $103 short of our goal of a $250 readers' contribution to the Oregon Chapter of the Children's Heart Foundation -- a donation that I'll match.

So what did he do? Clicked and gave $103.

Thank you, sir, and thanks to everyone who clicked on that button yesterday as well. I know the folks at the CHF will be thrilled to pick up our $500 here at year-end.

And the button's still there (upper left sidebar on the main page) if anyone else is interested.

Saw some of your posts about the Oregon Coast and it looks like a beautiful place with great restaurants.

Would you mind if my 3 wives and I crashed at your house as we check the areas out.

All we need is some floor space.

Thanks in advance....

Congratualations, Jack. And Mrs. Jack. Sterling riches you give our city '...sidewalks, busy sidewalks, dressed in holiday style. In the air there's a feeling of Christmas. Children laughing, people passing, greeting smile after smile.'

On this one corner a sour note -- I am curious whether or not Lars gave a buck for your blog. Don't answer, silence says it all. (I didn't buck. Yet.)

Sometimes a pickle puss can make it a beautiful morning, on topic, as Liars did by announcing today (this Posting Update:) he withdraws from his threat to put a nazi-esque Cross in Portland's face in its living room. (BTW, I 'own' some of those bricks in Pioneer C. Square, they have my name on them, and perhaps I should opt in or opt out of what I 'allow' or am responsible for to go on my brick-sized 'property.')

Anyway, Liars lied here earlier, saying: ...we're putting up the cross ," [Posted by: lars at November 30, 2005 09:36 PM]

And it was predicatable: Where I said, "Well, the comment is simply that by the way Liars starts in making his Cross a force in Portland's living room, Liars unmakes and loses it. It is not going to happen. He causes his own failure."
