Not to sound like Yogi Berra, but weeks like this don’t happen everyday. First, the Stones roll through town and absolutely destroy the crowd at the Rose Garden with a high-energy concert for the ages. And now an actual Beatle returns to grace the Rose City. It’s all too much. What did we do to deserve this good fortune? It almost seems like this week had 8 days in it.

Yeah, well, you'd need over a grand for a couple to see them both from a decent seat.

I admit I’ve wondered why people this wealthy go on charging as much as the market will bear. Maybe they’re still trying to get over the early deals in the music business when they got screwed big time. Who knows? My heating oil bill pisses me off a lot more, I can tell you that. 100 billion in oil company profits in 3 months? They actually took advantage of the hurricanes. I spent 95 to see the Stones and 250 to take my wife to see Paul. It’s expensive but you have to factor in Little Richard for 5 bucks at the Bite.
Besides, I live for this stuff. I’ll be good for months afterwards.

What about this one:
"You keep all your money in a big brown bag
inside a zoo, what a thing to do
Baby you're a rich man
Baby you're a rich man
Baby you're a rich man, too"
