According to the editorial in the Business Journal, The Tram [rim shot] and SoWa are already paying dividends.
" The university's investment in the South Waterfront will continue to pay dividends for years to come."
How can something "continue" if it hasn't started?
http://www.bizjournals.com/portland/stories/2005/10/10/editorial1.html Keep biotech in perspective
It's a wild read but if you want real perspective go to

It's the annual BIO convention which attracts everyone and anyone in biotech.
Note the mammoth proportion of OHSU's competition from around the country and globally.
More shocking is a scroll down the list shows NO presence of anything OHSU, anything Portland or anything Oregon. Note the many other state, county, municipality and university participants from around the country.
How is it that we have no representation at this premier annual event?
Also, we're a big player in Biotech game but our governor was too busy?

12 Governors were there. Not ours. Of course with no OHSU/Portland booth that may have been a little embarrassing.
The again maybe OHSU and Ted haven't heard about the gathering.
