Thats because I had changed my name to Darlings Home Fires and most of the time I was not listed under Orblogs. Alan at Bluehole and I have called a truce so I came back. ;) I'm less political now and less blunt on all fronts. Life seems to be easier that way.
Thank you for noticing I'm back. You sent floods of traffic my way! LOL
I want the whole world to know I still stand on the issues exactly where I stood in the old Dishpan Days. I'm just too tired to debate the whole thing anymore!
For old time sake let me just say that gay marriage is definitely a sin and no, alan and I are not getting married and neither is there a gay marriage in my future.
Now I'll just return to my Dishpan and discuss the issues of childrearing and housekeeping. It's far safer than getting involved in politics.
"let me just say that gay marriage is definitely a sin"
sounds like someone wanted the last word.
And I wonder how you know that when biblical scholars have been arguing this point for a looooong time. ANd entire churches disagree with you, but what do I know 50,000,000 smokers can't be wrong, eh?
Robin this is a tired subject generating something like 120 some comments on my weblog dealing with the issue. You can google it and I'm sure the erased pages are still out there if you're interested in reading the debate.
It really doesnt matter that entire churches disagree with me. Thats to be expected. Because the Bible says that broad is the way that leads to destruction and many there be that walk that way but narrow is the path that leads to eternal life and few there be that find it.
Most of the people are walking down that broad path to eternal death and destruction; even entire churches. That does not change the Word of God. Now I will say no more. I dont want to clutter up Jacks blog with another worn out discussion.
Clarification: I only meant that I am tired of the debate. It's me thats worn out not the discussion. Besides anything I have to say here would only be redundant and serve no good purpose.

Okay, okay. I actually got a chuckle out of that.

Oh I don't think my equality is a part of a clunky worn out discussion.
