Laughing all the way to the Poor Farm
Retirement-lust and big jackpots have led me to pay the stupidity tax again this week -- I bought a couple of lottery tickets. I didn't win squat, but these days the tickets come with some offbeat humor printed on them, so that the joke wasn't just on me. A couple of samples:
Win the Megabucks Jackpot and open a new checking account. You can order the checks with the kitties on them.Good stuff. Bad habit.[This one for Cousin James:] Do clowns scare you? Win Powerball, buy a circus and fire all the clowns. After all you don't like clowns.

Close, Cuz. I don't "not like" clowns. I farookin' HATE clowns, vile, grotesque, erratically behaving creatures that they are, who regularly invade people's personal space with impunity. ;-)

Are you talking about government clowns?
That's mean and totally uncalled for.
Randy, please forgive him.
