Good news and bad news
First, the bad news: The business part of our trip has come to an end, a bit sooner than we might have hoped. Now, the good news: It's sunny and clear, and the beach bars are open.
Well, here's another clue for you all: This afternoon, while at the Salvador Dali Museum, I received some unwanted negative commentary about my John Kerry t-shirt.

Sweet St. Pete. I spent wonderful time there during the campaign, prepping for a John Edwards rally. I hope you're staying at the Pier Hotel (and if so, glad to see they finally get the high speed internet fixed!).

I spent a week at the Poynter Institute, across the street from the Dali Museum. Poynter participants had a pass to the musuem. A lot of my spare time was spent there, including an entire meal under"St. John of the Cross", which was on loan from Met. My poster of the painting often freaks people out.
I'll never forget having paella with gulf shrimp.
