Okay, just because he is from East St. Louis he is damned by all??? Heck, I grew up right next to "felony flats" here in Portland. If I'm present at my 20th high school reunion this summer when at Lents Park when a meth bust goes down right across the street and the cops are "securing the perimeter," am I as guilty as Miles ?(who is acutally a really nice guy)
I agree. He was in the wrong place at the wrong time, and everyone in Portland is quick to judge. Granted, this isn't the best sign in the world, but it doesn't exactly make Miles a hoodlum. Just let it go.
Yeah, I heard a local news broadcast advertise their segment by saying "another Blazer on the wrong side of the law". talk about a witchhunt. I didn't know it was illegal to be near someone who gets arrested
He may not be guilty (and we'll find out soon enough). But if he's not-guilty, he will be in the minority of Blazers whose arrest makes it into the news. And that's why the Blazers should rethink their hiring.
When you and your posse are cruising around a bad part of town with guns and pot, you deserve to get thoroughly searched by the cops. And when you play your NBA card, it's right for the cops to laugh in your face.
Then your sorry millionaire punk *ss ought to be bounced right out of professional sports.
And if you bothered to pay closer attention you would have found out that he was there for a friend's high school graduation, and that the police were doing a sweep of a four block area. He was not arrested or chaged with anything because he did not do anything. He was a victim of circumstance. Wrong place, wrong time.
We're just so used to having our players here in Portland be criminals. Rashweed is gone. Get over it.

Reason 97 to get rid of the Blazers.

I'm calling racism/classism on this one.

Except this punk *ss doesn't profess to be anything other than a basketball player, and a f----ng good one at that.
I'm tired of the hypocrisy. Miles doesn't have to be a boy scout. He just has to ball. And that he does.

And he can ball in front of guys like you. I'm done paying.

Driving around with guns and pot in your car is not "not doing anything" in my book.
And don't look now, but Damon's still one small step out of jail, and Qyntel and Zach both look like thugs.
They're mostly all bums. And because of that, in a few years they will be sold, and maybe even moved. Then you can get over it.
