It's wierd how quiet the blogosphere is on this issue. I can't figure out if it's a response of jaded disinterest (like anything more than ceremonial's actually happened), or if this is the calm before the storm. Why no analysis from the Prof?

Hold the phone people----W and crew have taken a sharp policy turn here. They have made a tactical move that makes sense. It may even save some lives. Moving this decidedly ceremonial event back a few days to thwart the plans of malicious brats seeking attention is a move that is worthy of at least a nod of praise from his detractors.

Or, perhaps, the Emperor’s court wanted to pull the news media's attention off of the uprising at the box office.
