Focus group

As many readers of this blog know, Portland City Commissioner Randy Leonard is running for re-election this year. Already his campaign is under way, and his staff is working on some advertising themes for the weeks leading up to the election.

I've gotten a sneak peek at some of them, and, well... I don't know, they seem a little over the top to me. Check them out here and here, and see what you think.

HA! I vote for the second one.

(I also think we're all up way too late this evening, and I think I should have gotten that glass of wine after all...)

Haha. Yeah, the second one. You're insane or something, Jack.

I guess it isn't like you are driving your blog around with a Gorilla on the grill, but it is a bit edgey. I wouldn't be surprised if your spoof caught a complaint.

Not from me...I love it...

Dear Jack---

I wish I could thank you for the help with our campaign strategy for Randy....However, Randy has been working since the 70s to have someone put his face on Shaft's body, and now that he has reached this career zenith, he is just sitting home, staring at a blank TV screen, drinking whiskey and wondering what to do now....I hope you are happy.
