I understand that Huma Abedin is probably a very capable public servant (although her choice of husband causes a few snickers), but there does indeed seem to be some coincidental (and it indeed seems to be coincidental) connection between her family (not her) and the muslim bros.
Rather than ridiculing those who are asking the question (and Bachmann seems to be the only one taking flak on this), or posing for animal crackers with faux outrage (John McCain, call your office).
I'd guess that any influence would be minimal since the muslim bros probably arent too happy about any muslim woman married to a jewish guy (wouldnt that make her an apostate?), but then again, she is HRC's right hand...
I dont know, but its worth at least looking into... but it should have been done discreetly without the pressers... and if there was/is fire among the smoke, by all means deal with it.
The only embarrassment for Huma Abedin at this point is probably everyone being reminded that she is married to Anthony Weiner...
The bimbo Republicans are there to make the bimbo Democrats looks intelligent...
And the Muslim Brotherhood was set up by the British Ruling Class (with direct German blood lines) and the Nazis to have a destabilization force to counter any real democratic reforms in the Middle East. From this initial effort various other off-springs have emerged - such as Al CIAda.
Mike, I'm sure your drinking beer with your cousin who cheats on his taxes is completely innocent, but you can't possibly object to our raising the question, and of course I'm sure you are patriotic enough to submit to a voluntary audit.
Hmmm... i'm not seated at the right hand of the secretary of state, so that is kind of a specious argument... But i can tell you that my board of directors would be VERY interested in investigating if there were allegations that someone else in my family was involved in corrupt or unethical behaviour...
Big difference between the parents who raised you potentially being involved with the muslim bros and a cousin who you may only see at reunions having a beer with you.
BUT... if i had a family member who was a tax cheat, i'd probably not be surprised to hear that the IRS was taking a strong look at my taxes... I'd almost expect them to...
I dont know, but its worth at least looking into...
What makes you think Huma Abeden's background hasn't already been thoroughly vetted?
I have a current coworker who is a finalist for a relatively low level position within the State Department as US AID. Three people in our office were interviewed by a State Dept investigator as part of her background check as were several of her acquaintances and family members.
Who can seriously believe that Michelle Bachmann is somehow better able to identify security threats than the State Dept, Secret Service, FBI and CIA?
This is a modern-McCarthyism, and it's sad that certain people are able to be convinced that these "questions" are based on anything other than deranged fears or political vendettas.
From the State Dept website: "Eligibility for access to classified information, commonly known as a security clearance, is granted only to those for whom an appropriate personnel security background investigation has been completed. It must be determined that the individual’s personal and professional history indicates loyalty to the United States, strength of character, trustworthiness, honesty, reliability, discretion, and sound judgment, as well as freedom from conflicting allegiances and potential for coercion, and a willingness and ability to abide by regulations governing the use, handling, and protection of classified information."
I'm sure she was vetted, but things can and do change.
By the criteria you noted (thanks), there are some that think her staying with Weiner shows a lack of sound judgment, but thats another point...
I think that many are just so wrapped around the axles because Bachmann is involved, the larger point is being missed. She was only one of many congresscritters (8 or 10 as i recall) who asked for the connections between her parents and the muslim bros to be investigated.
I think it should be at least vetted, and as i noted above, it would have been more effective if it was done on the QT
COMPLETELY ridiculous that the US secretary of State's right hand person is a progeny of MB members who are part of the organizational hierarchy. Hello. One more appeasement offering for the victimology champions of the universe.
And the press is just so despicable in this and all things in the appeasement game. I saw a NYT piece last week practically gushing about a girl's Islamic school and all the benefits it brings its students. ("Nosebags are liberating! Our pedophile prophet is better than everyone else's prophet! Our God is bigger than your God! Tucking a suicide vest in our burka is ok if it's in God's cause! Throwing gays off of tall buildings is OK!...")
Case in point is Syria. The entire cabal of the liberal left press is gunning for Assad's blood while Al-Qaida takes over the whole country. When the full-on massacre of Christians and Alawites starts there, the press will suddenly go silent. The Catholic inquisition makes the wholesale slaughter of Christians quite justified in 2012, per the mindset of these maggots of Marxism.
5th Gen, that works quite well for run of the mill gov't workers. But when it comes to politicians and their staff I can pretty much gaurantee (without any proof) things are different. It's been shown time and again they operate by different rules.
Let me ask you one simple question. Would you like to be the fed agent that told HRC that her right hand woman wasn't allowed a security clearance? Just losing your job would be considered getting off easy. If she really wanted to make your life miserable she could.
At a guess they either close their eyes and rubber stamp the request. Or, do an investigation without putting anything damaging on paper then rubber stamp the request.

Hey "OldSchool"
It doesn't take long to find out what is going on if you really are interested.
So you think it is just a coincidence that the so-called "Arab Spring" in Egypt came down to voting for the Military or the Muslim Brotherhood?
