Known by the locals as "Short Sands" beach. Sometimes it's hard to decide which is prettier, the beach, or the trail to it. A true Oregon Coast gem.

Too bad they closed the campground for overnight stays. Looks like the sand is back, or is that low tide?

When and why did they close the campground to overnight stays?
Used to go to Short Sands a lot for day trips. The niece and nephews loved playing in the nooks and crannies of the big trees along the trail.
