March Madness

I never have a clue when I waste $5 every year on the NCAA Tourney pool. This year is no exception. Nonetheless, here's whom I'm rooting for today (if I even have the day right):

Nevada Gonzaga St. Joe's Charlotte Florida Wake Forest Duke Seton Hall North Carolina Texas Stanford Southern Illinois Dayton Connecticut BYU Maryland

The early rounds are usually what wins these pools. We'll see where we stand when this night is over.

UPDATE, 3:45 p.m.: Already I've been wrong on four of the first seven games concluded. Ah me, at least it gave me a reason to care.

UPDATE, 9:26 p.m.: First day record = 11-5. Too bad about Dayton -- they wuz robbed.

As a former Nevadan, I am shocked to see Nevada at the top of any list. It's almost making me nostalgic!
