Remember that big foodie splash about Portland in the Times last week?
Turns out, there's a dark side to the whole thing.
Ah, me. Isn't there always these days?

I'm not defending Asimov, but I would say that Vitaly Paley seems to be fairly well known in New York. More than once I've been asked there by locals -- once by the person sitting next to me at a benefit -- whether I know him. (I don't.) That puts a slightly different hue on the disclosure issue, which is an issue only if one assumes (a giant leap for a New Yorker) that a reader of the Times is going to be eating in a restaurant out in Ahra-gone.
