Back on the blog

Hello, bloggy. Long time no see. I've been so busy with the campaign and all. But now it's all over but the shouting, and I've got some time to sit back and reflect.

I keep telling myself anything can happen. There was that one poll that the Trib ran that showed me moving up. Let's hope it was right. But something tells that old "Metamucey" is in like sin. Which is the voters' loss. The fools! I have so much passion for the city. I'm so much the Guy Who Can Get It Done. Why don't people like me, after all I've done for them? I've been a straight-up kind of guy to deal with, haven't I?

You know what I hate most about the whole thing? Being done in by a girlie little jogger weasel. I'll get even with that wunderkind one of these days. I hope the Texas Pacific boys take me up on my offer to be their community involvement man -- that will get that punk's micro-tap in a knot.

Thank God Fireman Randy had my back (I think).

I wonder if there's going to be an "emeritus" status on this blog. I'd still like a place to post my private thoughts, even after the new year rolls around.

Hey, screw the blogging. It's résumé time. Bookmark Jobdango and away we go. How about "Francesconi Imeson Carter"? Sounds cool -- kind of Euro.
