Oops. I had Danny Boy on my mind today. Sorry, Rob. Hey, b!X has deserted us -- can you be convinced to get back on the blog?

been thinking about it quite hard. I've started to look at things again and think - that'd be fun to write about - rather then look at things and think - jeeze, now I've got to write about that!

It's obvious that's not the Willamette in Portland.
There's no toilet paper hanging on the fish.

no toilet paper, but I see a couple turds.

Yeah, you can see Karl "Turn Blossom" Rove's fingerprints all over the Bush Administration's new and "improved" Katrina response.

Uh..."Turd Blossom"...

Nice picture. (Not-very-subtle message: Bush doesn't care about anyone hurt by the flooding.) Michael Moore may have a job for you. While a lot of people who think exactly like you do love cheap shots against Bush, I think most people probably don't (which is at least partly why Bush was re-elected).

So now Portland will NOT be getting the refugees, I see. What's that, four changes of the story in four days? We were, then we weren't, then we might, then we will, now we won't. I fully expect it to have changed another three times before Monday.
For crying out loud, if they can't tell a city whether or not 500 people are coming, why did anyone think they could actually manage a frickin' disaster zone? Unreal.

Steady now. There's also some bad news and much funnier.
Mens fitness magazine ranked PSU as having the 5th fatest student body in the country.
Say it ain't so.

This picture is even funnier with the caption it had when it came to me in an email: "Bush Vacation"

That, and lack of judgment.

"That, and lack of judgement." Amen to that. I voted for B. Clinton twice and wrote him in the last two elections. Judgement is exactly what he brought to the office and the party: MY party, the party of good judgement.

In your face to all the wacko lefty unemployed latte drinking Bush haters. For my part, if you own a home that is under sea level and in a hurricane zone, you failed the test ALREADY. I am not buying you a replacement. Got it? Sorry for the folks who died - God rest them. As for you - get your hands out of my wallet!

Oh, God. That's funny. Maybe next time you can show more good judgement and write in President Bartlett, a fictional charactor who is equally eligible as two term Bill Clinton. If your party is the party of good judgement, why didnt you vote for Mr Kerry?
Posted by buzz | September 11, 2005 4:18 PM
Okay, so I didn't vote for Bush - I voted Libertarian both times. But I've defended him from the asinine anti-Bush types a lot, in the name of fairness. I bear the man no love, but no hatred either - he's pretty decent, and I think he does the best job he can. ... And I found this to be funny. So there. It's a joke. That's all.

"That, and lack of judgment."
More like "lack of a decent opponent".
Kerry might have won if he had a better answer for anything than "see my website." Most older voters dont have internet. My grandfather doesnt. He voted for Bush because he couldnt tell what Kerry actually stood for. As did I. (Other than "he wasnt Bush", which apparently wasnt enough.)

This is great! My new desktop photo!
Unfortunately some people here can't help arguing politics. The pic is funny no matter what your politics, dammit!

As much as I loath partisan bashing, I can't help but admire this as a funny photojab.
Posted by wlpeak | September 12, 2005 11:18 AM
It looks like Bush found beach front property.
Hope he stays their.

I agree with BYRD -- I'm an R and proudly voted for W (Kerry lost me when he tossed someone else's medals at the Capitol in the '70's)....
I think it's funny. It's okay to have a sense
of humor about this shit.
