Thank you, Jack. (And a nod to the technology that allows me to hear Dr King's words on my laptop, lying in bed this Sunday morning.) Still amazing stuff. And we all remember the "I have a dream"...but there's so much else. We should never forget the powerful admonishment: we must rise to the majestic heights of meeting physical force with soul force.

I was in high school when I was priviliged to see and hear Dr King a few years later, when he spoke to an anti-war rally at the UN, bringing together the fight for racial equality with the fight against that war. Not long before he was assasinated. We lost a lot in that awful time, but it's good to be reminded of what was good and hopeful about it.
