Locals cry "murder" at Japan's Fukushima response

It really was despicable conduct by the government over there. And it's not a whole lot better nearly five months later.

Because you can't see it or feel it, nuclear radiation releases lend themselves to cover ups as few other disasters do. Chernobyl was initially covered up. And now Fukushima. Anyone who thinks a similar disaster in the U.S. would be treated any differently is living in a dream.
