Once a Jail Blazer, always a Jail Blazer

Z-Bo is moving on up into the big time of gangsta life.

UPDATE, 5/27, 1:40 p.m.: It gets worse. The man is bad news from coast to coast. He may need some jail time now.

And NBA fans continue to enable (vote for) this behavior by buying the tix and merchandise. Sort of like our city counsel. You get what you vote for.

I'm so tired of the drug war. Beyond tired, beyond sickened by how we waste our precious tax resources in this mad way, chasing after other people's behavior. It's mass hysteria, crowd psychosis. Beyond belief. Enough to go lie on the couch for weeks on end.

Can the K-9s please go clean up the Gulf of Mexico?

PRIORITIES, folks.

You can take the boy outta the hood, but you can't necessarily take the 'hood' outta the boy.

Gaye, I have a strong suspicion that when guillotines are erected in every corner of our fair land in the coming years, that the remaining architects and beneficiaries of our absurd, failed Drug War will be among the first to be cycled through them.

Shed no tears for the cop bleeding
He once held the gun. He once held the key
Now his prisoners will sing and dance and play
No tears wasted
No sorrow no pity
No, no crying, no loss
Shed no tears for the nun beaten
By the children she once called her flock
How they hate their teachers. Who force the darkness upon us
No tears wasted
No sorrow no pity
No, no crying, no loss

Let's face it, Zach Randolph was never the sharpest knife in the drawer.

Here's a free tip for him: When having a mule run a package to a drug house, leave the $60k caddy in the storage locker, and use a beat-to-crap 1970s Ford Econoline van. Much less conspicuous.

I recall that golden quote from the police report detailing Z-Bo's shenanigans at the Hotel Vintage Plaza: "I'm not a Trail Blazer, I'm a gangsta."

Yes, indeed, Z-Bo. Yes, indeed.

DUMB

I get that he's probably involved in some shady business (even if it is just turning a blind eye to what his crew is doing using his properties). BUT, you say he "may need some jail time now" where someone from his crew beat the crap out of some guy that appears to be trying to force him into a bogus settlement?

I just don't see that event as the one pushing this from "he's dumb" (I concur) to "go to jail now". Maybe it's the public defender in me, although I tend to think everyone who went to Michigan State should go to jail.
