The Southern Oregon coast on a bike

This guy had a good time, as he usually does out this way.

"Truth is, Portland doesn't want to be Seattle, its highly caffeinated neighbor to the north"
What planet is this guy from? Portland has had Seattle envy for as long as I can remember...thats over 70 years.

That is a tremendous ride. Adventure Cycling has a bike map set that gets you off of 101 where possible. That's probably what the riders to San Diego were using. The continuing circuit from Gold Beach to Big Sur is also an amazing ride.

You can absorb the scenery as your body is absorbed by the grill of a log truck. Biking down 101 has always seemed like a bad idea to me.
