You can hear 'em in the back room strummin'
Somebody's urging that the proposed Gerding Edlen San Diego City Hall tower scheme be put up for a public vote down there. Can you imagine? A public vote on a "public-private" real estate "partnership." We Portlanders certainly have to wonder what that would be like.

Asking for city-wide vote on Triple AAA and MSL is exactly what Commissioner Saltzman will do. He wants transparency like San Diego's Commissioner when so much is on the backs of taxpayers. Fish and Fritz will vote with him, but sadly they haven't been out front to advocate for a vote.

I'm amazed y'all haven't yet taken it to the streets on any of these deals.
Obviously a vote would be good, but failing that...
