Keeping news secret

So secret that it wasn't even on Wikipedia.

His life is more important than anyones need to know of the event.

But when the government asks media outlets to keep something out of the news for similar reasons, everyone cries censorship...

Huge difference b/t individual citizens and government

True to an extent. But I meant in the same situation...when the government is asking the media not to report when someone has been taken- for those same reasons.

I dont think the NYT would have given the same courtesy if it wasnt their reporter.
Particularly if the Bush Adm. asked. They would have said it was censorship.


I'm just amazed that, after his Balkan experience working for the Monitor, he's willing to go cover war zones again.
