Speaking of, since Obama is continuing the exact same national security strategies as Bush, where did all the protesters go?

"Speaking of, since Obama is continuing the exact same national security strategies as Bush, where did all the protesters go?"
Bama can do no wrong....if Bush was still in office this would be his fault, but Bama gets a pass since no one in the media has the balls to point to the top anymore....

President Obama's not getting a pass from me. But I'm supporting him through this because it's our best chance. Our best chance. All of us. Sara Palin's best chance. Al Franken's. Everyone's.
I'd hate to let the rabid dogs of the right back in charge. I saw that movie, and this still doesn't look like the sequel, despite some disturbing similarities on a number of topics.
As for, "No one in the media has the balls to point to the top anymore" that's not new.
What I'm seeing is ordinary citizens becoming the media and doing the best they can to point out the transgressions of the powerful.
My biggest fear with President Obama is that the howling hatred that he's facing everyday will break his spirit or worse.
As much trouble as we're in, the thought of Newt Gingrich or any of these other pompous big mouths running things scares the living daylights out of me.
Am I worried? Yes. Do I wonder if I've been had? Of course. But the toxic soup that Bush and Cheney left is the world's biggest superfund site and all these trillions may not be enough to clean it up.
We should know a lot more by Autumn. Try to have a good summer and fill your oil tank if you have one.

Bill - Obama is a just as bad as Bush, Pelosi, Cheney, Kennedy, etc...they are all crooks more concerned with self-preservation and preservation of the two party system than doing what is right for America...
as soon as people realize the current system isn't working the better...if I had my vote back it would go to the libertarians, just to expand beyond the two party system...

The Pentagon can pull all the questions they want, but I don't think it'll stop groups like the NYPD spending millions of taxpayer dollars sending guys out on junkets to places like Oregon to surveil and infiltrate groups of bicyclists and puppet makers, like they did before the 2004 GOP convention in NYC, all in the name of gathering info on "terrorists."

"Obama is just as bad as Bush, Pelosi, Cheney, Kennedy, etc...they are all crooks more concerned with self-preservation and preservation of the two party system than doing what is right for America..."
Between the rabid right, the "they're all crooks" brand of thoughtless know-it-alls, and leftists who dream that the U.S. could be made to resemble Sweden, it often seems that the politcal culture in this country is hopelessly fragmented and at odds.
Bill McDonald has it right. Obama is human and a politician and therefore far from perfect, but he's the most decent, talented, and compassionate person to have a significant role in the American political scene in a very long time. He deserves our support in his attempts to clean up the toxic dump--and our reasonable and measured criticism when he gets it wrong.

... protests are TERRORISM, and honest-to-God actual terrorizings are not to be sighted, not to be spoken of and reported, and never never to be heard about ...
such as the provoked-hysterical murderer of immigrants from Mexico, and such as the provoked-hysterical murderer of medical doctors giving women's health care -- the main two topics settled in law and off the political radar of normal-minded people, which are furiously provoked by rightwing hysterical hate-talkers as FUXNews LIARS infect in weak uninformed brains -- and were rightwing (O'Reilly) dictator gag-ordered not to be discussed lately:

Here's a fun video of a FUXNews fake-reporter being ambushed by a real blog reporter and being asked why rightwing hate-talkers ambush and slander decent newsmakers. Taking what they dish out:
