"Do you think Sarah Palin is qualified to be VP?"
Do you think Obama qualified to be P?

No on Palin; yes, eminently, for Obama.

Uhhh....let me think about this for 1 second. NO. This is a hillbilly that speaks like a Valley Girl. To be honest with all these events that have transpired and the choices our so called leaders have made....I think this country is finished as the big world power.
We sold our sold our souls to foreign shores....we sold out our future generations. We are BROKE. Its all too sad, and to think that Sarah Palin is a heartbeat away from running the show.
That would be it for me. I would be on the first flight out to Lugano Switzerland. John McCain is a total SCHMUCK to of taken this idiot. An INSULT to this country in these shaky times..

If for no other reason to vote for Obama, consider this scary scenario for a moment. If McCain/Palin are elected and something, God forbid, happens to the 72 year old man America would have Palin as President and Nancy Pelosi as Vice-president. Now that sends shutters down my spine.

Do you think Obama qualified to be P?
That is so six weeks ago.
America would have Palin as President and Nancy Pelosi as Vice-president.
That would never happen. If McCain and Palin both died, Pelosi would become President. If McCain died, Palin would become President and would nominate a vice president. Section 2 of the 25th Amendment states: "Whenever there is a vacancy in the office of the Vice President, the President shall nominate a Vice President who shall take office upon confirmation by a majority vote of both Houses of Congress."

Pelosi as vice president, Phil.
Ummmm, no.
Try reading the Constitution before you spout off.
A vacancy in the office of VP,however caused (remember Agnew; remember Gerry Ford?) is filled by nomination of a person to become VP, which nomination must be confirmed by 2/3 of both the House and Senate.
Her's a hint - if a President Palin ( wow that hurts the fingers to type)nominates a VP, it won't be Speaker Pelosi -- who hopefully will be in jail by then for her aiding and abetting in the massive securities fraud now destroying the economy.

There's no question that Sarah Palin's been a great governor of California: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PRHm4Ps4uLc

A better question is if she is qualified to be President, since the only real qualification for Vice President is being ready to assume the duties of President.

NO
Posted by mp97303 | October 10, 2008 2:04 PM
Paliin is qualified to be ready to assume the duties of President; she just isn't qualified to actually assume them.

Is Biden qualified?
Posted by TedL | October 10, 2008 5:28 PM
After watching John McCain during this economic crisis, Mister Tee is ready to vote for Obama/Biden.
Bet you never thought you'd hear me say that!
Posted by Mister Tee | October 10, 2008 6:00 PM
The "welcome the governor of California" bit is only one of a number of similar gaffes made recently. A gentleman on McNeil-Lehrer yesterday evening called Sarah Palin, "Sarah McCain" and nobody present turned a hair.

You Americans are the most stupid people that I have ever seen! Days prove to us how empty your brains are and how ignorance you are and how dumb you are!! I really feel sorry for you if McCain or Palin represents you in the outside world! so shameful!! You Americans like Obama and are certain that Obama will be better than McCain and that Obama will solve your financial problems; however, sadly, you don't want to vote for him because you are either racists or dumb!!!!!!!!!!!!!
