I was surprised how quickly NBC Nightly News passed over the Bosnia thing tonight to focus on Hillary's comment about Obama's preacher. I realize it was a CBS News story but still. We have a candidate bragging about her vast experience and when she's caught hyping it in a classic way, everyone seems too eager to let it slide. Well, sorry. This is when I believe the comedy writers of America step up. The news media may let it slide, the other candidates may let it slide, but us? We're going to be on this for days. Just like we were on the Tonya thing. By the way, the first joke I ever sold to national TV was back during the Tonya situation, and I'm still on the case. Have you heard the latest from Hillary? Now she says she was John McCain's co-pilot when he was shot down over Vietnam.
ABC News gave Hillary a pretty good thrashing over her comments. They played Hillary's claims about the snipers on top of video showing Hillary and Chelsea parading down the tarmac with kids and admirers in tow.
Then, naturally, they played Hillary's remarks about Obama's preacher. Winner? John McCain -- not that he's having an especially good week, either.
"You people are, at once, so confusing and amusing."
It's time for the super delegates to come in and put their foot down. It's their job. Or at least that's what they keep telling us it is. They simply cannot wait until August to tell Hillary no. It has to happen now.
They all seem to be waiting for someone else to take the lead. All it would take is a half dozen senators to get together and it would be over like that. How about it, Gatsby? Your health plan won't be worth the napkin it's printed on if you don't have a president to get it passed.
cc, "You people are, at once, so confusing and amusing."
Is that intended as a pre-emptive insult? Or just an observation of humankind in general? Is it elitist? Or self deprecating? It is interesting just how much may be read into a somewhat obscure passage. I hesitate to seek elaboration, lest you get all tensk on me. Just curious.
The only paper involved in Gatsby's health plan will be the trillions of extra dollars that will have to be taken away from hard-working people to pay for it. Oh, and the extra paperwork everyone will have fill out for the new costly bureaucracy. Oh and the death certificates for those that can't get treatment, or get poor treatment.

I feel like a Roman at the colosseum; except I'm not sure who's the lion and who's the Christian.
You people are, at once, so confusing and amusing.
Thumbs down, either way.

It's so simple - jettison both of these losers and go for the ultimate liar from your party. Heck, he won an Emmy - let's bring back Al Gore and all the charisma and truth that the man possesses. Come on dems, you CAN to it - remember as one of your loser candidates now proclaims, just believe. He invented the internet, and now makes false claims about global warming - don't let this opportunity pass your party by, jump on it.

Even in a year when the Democrats should win an election, they show again they know how to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory!
