Now that the blizzard's over

Prepare for the hurricane!

Wake me when it's over.

We survived the first snowstorm of the year in the SW Hills. Fortunately, the power only flickered momentarily. Whew!

We had to switch the Jeep's windshield wipers on "high" for a few blocks, but haven't chained up. Yet.

Just like the $100.00 barrel of oil, it's coming look out!

Why can't we rein in the drive by media? Why do we put up with this crap?

ATTENTION ALL MEDIA, JUST FUC*ING STOP IT!

Did a morning cycle 'round town. Saw/heard a dozen cars with snow-studs, tearing up the road, in the "near" blizzards conditions. Saw a few stray snowflakes in Lake Oswego before 9 a.m. Saw "light snow" (the precipitation appeared to be more than half snow) in the NW hills on Cornell. Very disappointed; I was ready for some heavy snow ...

The whole world has gone mad!
All this fuss over a snow flury!?

Quite upset that VeraSam did not get any photo ops out of the "blizzard", though I did hear a few sound bites on how he was going to protect the environment, save the children, and make the blizzard be named Cesar. Randy is going to get involved in naming the incoming windstorm "4th Avenue." In case you missed it, W is causing all of the weather problems.

Well...It was starting to look pretty silly with all those television journalists standing out in the rain on streetcorners and freeway bridges.
