Read it and weep

For the wonkier among you, the Multnomah County tax roll is out, and an alert reader has sent it along as an Excel spreadsheet file. If that's your cup of tea, you can see what he or she sent me here.

I see they don't mind demagoguing M5 but leave out the loss increment from Urban Renewal-Tax Increment Financing.

Mike - actually the tax roll is a summation of all the property taxes imposed, including the urban renewal districts. So, with respect to all taxes assessed in Multnomah County those taxes aren't "lost", as are those truly lost due to the measure 5 limit. The measure 5 loss is something the taxing districts need to know, otherwise they would overproject the amount of property taxes they could expect to recieve.
