We are not alone

Here's a local story from The New York Times -- repeat, The New York Times, not The Oregonian.

Yes, I thought of you when I read that this morning. Once again Portland sets the trends for the other cities to follow!

Also in today's NYT: a lengthy article about (and citing) Nigel Jaquiss's story on PGE's ventures into self-rating.

I don't get it. Portland isn't mentioned.

Kari, I think Jack was just showing that Portlanders are not alone.

And the water billing system in NY must be pretty bad, there was even a Law & Order episode about it...

I wonder if they bought theirs from Severn Trent also... and tried to customize it.

Take a look at City of Portland Ombudsman Michael Mill's blog on the Water Blog at http://www.portlandonline.com/water/index.cfm?c=39678&a=142422&nocache=1 or www.portlandonline.com/water/blog . He provides insights into a Portland perspective on this New York Times article.
